PRA update

I took this picture sometime in 2008 when PRA had a fundraiser at Someday Lounge. The Portland Radio Authority is moving into The Activespace(like right now). The Buzz- they need $upport http://www.praradio.org/ I am told PRA is very excited about the new space (SE main between 8th and 9th) and how having a public street presence is going to benefit them and the community. "I hear" they probably won't be fully moved in for a couple weeks, but once then- anyone can stop by and say hi to the DJs... And even before then, anyone can see how our progress is going. They plan on participating in first Friday events with monthly free concerts out in front of the studio throughout the spring and summer. Additionally they'll be holding a series of open houses in the coming months to show people what their up to. And the easiest way for people to donate money is to go to: http://www.praradio.org/donate/ They're also always in need of equipment, so if anyone wants to donate old audio or computer equipment, they can contact the programming director at programming@praradio.org to see if its something that they can use.
