Chair Affair 2009

Anka Gallery will host the First Thursday Reception in April for The Chair Affair, benefiting Portland's Community Warehouse. I have a couple talented artist friends that are contributing chairs for it. I just got this picture from my friend Julianna Paradisi whose stunning chair is above. Julianna's work is entitled Resurrection Chair is an antique child's chair with driftwood collected from the banks of the Willamette River. The Chair Affair Auction itself is on April 23rd at Staver Locomotive and include more than just chairs to bring home- tickets are only $50 or you can buy 8 tickets for the price of 6! More details on Paradisirn’s blog or Community Warehouse.
