Their last Gallery Invite:

"March 31 - May 2, 2009
CLASSICS:
Linda Hutchins, Jeffry Mitchell, Laurie Reid, Heather Larkin Timken and others....

Please join us Wednesday, April 1, 5:30 - 7:30pm for a preview reception of this
group show of gallery artists.

Linda Hutchins received the Juror's Choice Award at the 9th NW Tacoma Biennial,
on view January 31 - May 25, for her site specific wall drawing, "Lineal Silver". Dialogue
between the study for the Biennial piece, other drawings and the artist's organza sculptures
will be evident.

Seattle sculptor, printmaker, painter and conceptual artist, Jeffry Mitchell, will display
selections from his installation last summer at the Portland Art Museum's NW Contemporary
Art Award exhibition. Mr. Mitchell's ceramic work is currently featured in "Dirt on Delight" at
the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia.

Laurie Reid who has made a national reputation of her drops, pours and splashes of watercolor
on paper is using drips, sprays and drawings with adhesive glue to bind mirrored glass to
paper. The resulting forms, abstractions and illusions are satisfying compositions that reflect
and refract light.

Residing on a rural island in Puget Sound, Heather Larkin Timken will sometimes print with
stones, pieces of wood and other natural objects. She presents unique Japanese style
woodblock prints mounted on wood. Her work reflects ruminations on family, nature and
a thoughtful, quiet way of life.

"Diary of a Politician" is the title of a series of small oil on wood paintings by G. Lewis Clevenger.
"Like the pages of a diary or personal journal these twelve paintings represent a response
to the news events surrounding local politics this past winter.... I make no assumptions that
anyone has lied or misspoke the truth about the events, but rather have taken the event and
translated it into a visual document."

Works by Brian Borrello, Brenden Clenaghen, Anna Fidler, Kay French, Jerry Iverson and Ken Kelly
will also be on view.

See you Wednesday evening!
