I was talking with a neighbor just the other day about wonderful museums and "institutions" of Washington DC and NYC, New York. I have special feelings attached the memories of going to museums with my family when growing up. I also remember fondly "field trips" on the school bus to be exposed to the arts. I still love the idea of going to museums and seeing art that tells a story of other generations and cultures. I randomly received some information from them recently and thought it was cool. I don't think I know anyone at the Smithsonian but love peeking at there great programs and projects.
